Jean Bailey Baecher, 79, died Saturday, March 28, 2009. She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Derma. She retired from Kellwood Co. as an inspector and she was a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Easley officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Julie Tabor (Ken) of Olive Branch; her son, Eugene Baecher (Mitzi) of Vardaman; three sisters, Emma Lane Pounds of Derma and Frances Hobbs and Beatrice Caldwell, both of Hernando; two grandchildren, Lance and Nicole Baecher of Vardaman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Bailey and Florence Bailey; her husband of 56 years, Julian Baecher; four sisters, Corene Moreland, Audia Mosley, Lucille Wood and Dorothy Terry Smith; and one brother, Dale Bailey.
