Abstract: Died April 22, 1907. Of a paralytic stroke. Aged 41. Lived at 435 Linden Ave., having come to Long Beach eleven years ago. Survived by wife, Mrs. Mamie Bailey, son Norman, mother Mrs. Lorinda Bailey, and half brother W.S. Martin, all of Long Beach. He came here from South Dakota and was a member of the Modern Woodmen and the Sons of Veterans. Funeral at his home, Rev. Charles Pease of the First Congregational church officiating. Burial at Signal Hill.
