                    Mrs. Hattie Bailey

Final rites for Mrs. Hattie B. Bailey, 86, of Sweet Springs, formerly of Beckley, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Keyser-Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. W. Reece Burns will be in charge of services. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey died at 2:42 a.m. Sunday in a Hopemont hospital after a long illness.

She was born March 17, 1881, at Corliss. She was the daughter of the late George and Rebecca Amick Sevy. A member of the Methodist Temple in Beckley, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey C. Bailey.

Her only survivors include one nephew, Frederick Bennett of Beckley, one niece, Mrs. Lloyd Hopkins of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Beckley, and one granddaughter, Susan M. Hopkins, also of Chattanooga.

Friends may call at Keyser-Bryant Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today.

Pallbearers have been selected for the funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Bailey of Sweet Springs, formerly of Beckley, who died at 2:42 a.m. Sunday.

Pallbearers will be R.B. Armentrout, Cecil Miller, Elmira Thorne, Clyde Oney, Hubert Jackson and Loca Shrewsbury.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Keyser-Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.
