MARY LOU BAILEY, daughter of William Henry and Pearl C. Acker Hawkins, was born January 17, 1934, in Willow Springs, Missouri, and departed this life May 7, 2007, in Lebanon, Missouri with her loving family by her side.
On August 12, 1950, she was united in marriage with Lewis (Junior) Bailey, in Hardy, Arkansas, to this union was born three children, who survive.

Mary was saved at an early age, and at the time of her death was a member of First Baptist Church in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She enjoyed the time spent with her church family.

She had many hobbies, including bird watching, tending to her flowers, crafts and crocheting. She was always prepared to cook large meals for her family, and enjoyed sharing her many crafts with them. Her family knew it would be a good meal followed by great fellowship when they were at "Granny's."

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Johnny Hawkins; and a sister, Annabelle Hawkins, who passed away at birth.

She was a lovely wife and mother. She treasured each and every moment spent with her family especially her grandchildren. It will not be forgotten the impact she had on those around her. Granny will be greatly missed.
