Mrs. Ida McCurdy Bailey, widow of William F. Bailey, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Miller, 420 West Franklin Street, early Monday morning, aged 84 years. Born at Fort Loudon, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James W. and Mary McCurdy. She had lived in Hagerstown for the past 56 years and was a member of the Howard Street Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. A.R. Ruth, Mrs. Frank Miller, and Miss Thelma Bailey, all of Hagerstown; Mrs. Howard Harbaugh, Paramount; James F., Baltimore, and R. Gardner, Charlottesville, Va.; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Kraiss Mortuary; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
