Former Brown County resident Michael David Bailey died Sunday, March 29, 1992, at his home in Bargersville. He was 38.

Mr. Bailey was born February 3, 1954, in Franklin to Jesse Bailey Jr. and Pauline Schelske Bailey. He was a graduate of Brown county High School. He worked as a carpenter and had been employed at the Schutt-Lookabill Company in Indianapolis since 1970. Mr. Bailey was a member of the North American Labor Union 120 in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his wife, Catrina Breeden Bailey, his parents who live on State Road 135 North; and three sons, Christopher Bailey, at home, David Allen Bailey and Christopher Ardra Bailey: a step-daughter, Tricia Breeden, at home; three sisters, Linda Richardson of Indianapolis and Barbara Patrick and Arriest Perry, both of Morgantown; two brothers, Paul Bailey and Thomas Bailey, both of the Morgantown area; and his maternal grandfather, Cecil Moore of Brown County. A sister, Valerie Bailey, preceded him in death.

The Reverend Henry Wagler conducted a service Wednesday, April 1, at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Johnson County.
