Janie Romaine Reyer Bailey, 78 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Friday, August 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Herman Reyer and the late Sallie Bailes Reyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Charles Edward Bailey, a son: Charles Dwight Bailey, a daughter: Janie Ann Bailey, and a sister: Barbara Ann Lewis. She was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and was greatly loved by all.
Surviving are a son, Richard Dwayne (Jo Ann) Bailey of Ardmore, AL, daughter, Charlotte Gail (Reavis) Alexander of Lynnville, TN, brother, Jimmy Gary Reyer of Ardmore, AL, sisters, Roberta Smith of Ardmore, AL, Delores Mitchell of Fayetteville, TN and Cynthia Malone of Ardmore, AL, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Marshall Norman officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
