PELL CITY - Funeral service for Mrs. Margie Ramsey Baggett, 81, was be Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Parker and Bro. Vint Arnold officiating. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery. Mrs. Baggett went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2012 in Birmingham. She is preceded in death by her mother, Leoma Messer Ramsey; father, E.E. Ramsey; loving husband, Archie Leon Baggett; brother, Huston Ramsey; sisters, Christine St. John, Lorene Causey, Helen Harris; and grandson, Stephen Baggett. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Glenn) Fountain, Kathy (Ronnie) Concord, Pamela (Warren) Skelton, and Evelyn (Paul) Logan; son, Statesman (Diane) Baggett; sister, Ruth Monaghan. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Scott Rich, Joey Callahan, Jason Hanner, Chris Callahan, Brenda Callahan and Chris Prewitt. Honorary pallbearer was David Causey. The family would like to express thanks to the staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice, St. Vincent's East COU, St. Vincent's St. Clair ICU, Golden Living Rehab Unit, Dr. Ronald Helms, Dr. Alvaro Aldana, and to Dr. Gerald Day for the wonderful love and care she received during her illness.
