Funeral and Burial For Mrs. Baggenstoss At Sauk Centre Sat.
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Baggenstoss, 72, who passed away October 20, 1971 at Regina Memorial Hospital, will be conducted on Sat., Oct. 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran church, Sauk Centre.
Rev. George Eschanbacher will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Betty Lang will sing the hymns, Beyond The Sunset and Heaven Is My Home, during the service.
A visitation will be held at the Caturia Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m., today, Thursday and again on Friday at the Corrigan Funeral Home in Sauk Centre, and before the service at the church for one hour on Saturday.
Mrs. Baggenstoss, a daughter of William and Augusta Schuster Radke, was born at Cottage Grove, March 29, 1899 and there grew to maturity. She was married to Albert Baggenstoss in St. John's Lutheran, Hastings and established their first home in Excelsior, later moving to Sauk Centre where they resided for many years.
He passed away August 4, 1964, his widow continuing to reside there until coming to this area. For the past year she has been residing at Haven Homes.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Theodore (Del) Hubley, Mrs. Dale (Arlene) Benjamin of Hastings, Mrs. Dale (Rosie) Hentges of Anoka, two sons, Delmer of Hastings and Kenneth of Willmar, 15 grandchildren, also three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Myrtle) Lohmann, Mrs. Earl (Nettie) Bakken of Hastings, Mrs. John (Mildred) Illa of Star Prairie, Wis., two brothers, Emil and Oscar Radke of Hastings.
She was preceded in death by five children.
