Mrs. Bertha Virginia Hite Franks Bagent, 82, of Bunker Hill, WV died Thursday at the Shenandoah Center in Charles Town, WV.

Mrs. Bagent, born in Berkeley County, was the daughter of the late Charles William Franks and Rosie Hite Miller and the widow of Charles H. Bagent. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Ricky Bagent, one brother, Clifton Eugene Miller, two sisters, Hilda May Mace and Louise Katherine Reedy.

She worked at the Musselman Apple Plant until she left to become a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed the Shenandoah Center where she was the spot light of the Resident Recognition, the staff referred to her as the grandmother of the center.

She is survived by her son, George P. Bagent of Inwood; two daughters, Lori A. Pittsnogle of Falling Waters, and Donna L Hardy of Inwood; two grandsons, Brandon L. Rouss and David F Bagent; one brother, David Abraham Miller; one sister, Eleanor Elaine Ridenour both of Williamsport, MD.

The family received friends, 6-8 PM, Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Services and Burial was private.
