Brian Keith Bage, 50,of La Grange, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 5, 1962, in Giddings, Texas to Milton E. and Carolyn A. Citzler Bage.
He was married September 10, 1988, to Sharon Dittrich of Houston. He graduated from La Grange High School in 1980 and went on to graduate from the University of Texas in Austin with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1985. He was employed with Page Southerland Page in Austin as a Professional Engineer.
Even though Brian was quiet by nature, he touched many lives and was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was truly devoted to his family & friends, and was also a lifetime member of Texas Exes. He was a proud fan and supporter of Texas Longhorn Football.
Brian is survived by his wife, Sharon of La Grange; son, Ryan Keith of La Grange; parents, Carolyn and Leroy Bennetsen of La Grange; brothers: Gregory Bage and wife, Teresa, of Bastrop, Mark Bage and wife, Sheila, of La Grange, Tory Bennetsen and wife, Bonnie, of Juneau, AK, Baron Bennetsen of College Station; sister, Bamba Scott and husband, David, of Stafford, VA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Gladys Dittrich of Weimar; niece, Jordan Mundine; nephews: Blake Mundine, Peyton Scott, Garrison and Grayson Bage and Tayten and Jesper Bennetsen; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton E. Bage; and grandparents: Arthur and Edna Citzler and Edward and Minnie Bage.
