Son of Paulo Badillo and Georgina Moran. Mr. Badillo was a packer in a pecan factory. He was not married.

Cause of death: Stab wound; homicide.

Knife Wounds Kill Youth, 19

Police were trying to round up four men Sunday to piece out the story of a stabbing that took the life of Victor Badilla, 19, of 2007 San Fernando St.

The youth was found at 1:15 a.m. by Police Patrolman John Andrews. He had been stabbed once in the chest and once in the abdomen. A knife with a six-inch blade was found nearby.

Justice of the peace John N. Ogden ordered an autopsy.

Det. Sgt. Eddie Campa said a witness, Juan Mercado, 20, of 135 Huntington St., was with Badilla when four men attacked them. Mercado said he was able to escape after flailing one attacker with a belt.
