Leslie and Adeline Bacon had three children: a son, Richard (1950-2010), and two daughters, Beverly and Nancy.
Mr. Bacon was an engineer by profession. He was also a Freemason and a lifelong New Britain resident. He was proud of his family heritage. Both his parents' ancestors can be traced back to the earliest settlement of New England, and to the time that the State of Connecticut was established, in 1636.
Leslie Bacon passed away on July 26, 1992, in New Britain. He was preceded in death by his wife, in 1978, by his parents, and by four of his brothers, Clarence (1897-1982), Harold (1899-1959), Leon (1901-1989), and Clifton (1919-1921). He was survived by his children, by his twin brother, Kenneth (1914-2003), by his grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews.
