The daughter of Archibald Hicks Holland (1826 1895 ), Tennessee and Mary Elmer, (1830- 1852 ,Illinois.
Mary Elmer Holland died in Iowa.
A.H. married to Nancy Ann Sanborn from Canada 20 Feb 1856.
The family moved to Butte, Sutter, California by 1867.
Eliza's father and stepmother are living beside her and John Bacon in 1870.

In the 1900 census of McEwen, Baker Co.,Oregon, Eliza stated she had gave birth to eleven children and only seven were living.Daughter Jessie had died along with three that died very young.


Daughter Elizabeth "Lizzie " married a man named ~~~Jones/James, and Lucy M. married Phillip P. Neill, Dec 25, 1889 in Baker County.There are records of Phillip marrying again in 1907.
Daughter Lizzie was a widow or divorced by 1910 as she is living with her widowed father John E. and younger sister Myrtle . Lizzie has a six year old daughter Ruth P. Jones/James born abt 1904.Lizzie didn't remarry as she took her daughter to live in Seattle after her father died.
In 1920 Lizzie and her 16 year old daughter Ruth were both doing waitress work. Ruth in a food booth and Lizzie in a restaurant .
Mary Ann Bacon married Frank Clement, on July 20, 1893 in Baker County. They lived in Cleary, Baker Co., Oregon and then moved to Yakima,Washington and raised a family of six children, Ray Frank, Cyrus Win, George, Evelina, John and Mary Clement. Frank died in 1949 and it's not known at this time when Mary Ann Bacon Clement died.
