Betty Bachaus was born on September 23, 1926 in Owosso, the daughter of Emil and Hazel (Shoup) Bachaus.
On July 2, 1945, Betty Bachaus married Robert Jr. Diffin. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She had a wonderful love for music and had played as a guitarist in a band in her earlier years.
Betty Diffin was survived by her three daughters, Constance J. (Jerry) Ciarlino, Diane (Mike) Sullivan, and Sandra (William) Ambrose; son, Scott (Shannon) Diffin; grandchildren, Tim E. Tinklepaugh, Michelle Sullivan, Marli (Ryan) Konkle, Amanda (Rick) Ralston, Jerry (Tracy) Ciarlino, Terri Diffin, Ryan Pokorney, and Matthew Diffin; great-granddaughter, Kasandra; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Diffin; her parents; an infant grandson; four sisters, Vera Angus, Genieve Habermehl, Vivian Minarik, and Dolly Smith; and an infant brother.
