Carol was born November 22, 1938 at the Memorial Hospital in Sedro-Woolley. She graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1957. Carol was active in Rainbow, Pep Club and was a majorette for several years.
After graduation from high school, she attended collage at Skagit Valley and then moved to Seattle where she worked as a bank teller.
Carol was married to Larry Bach in August of 1964 at Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. They made their home in North Seattle and Shoreline for many years, where she was a wife, homemaker and mother of four. Carol's greatest joy in life was motherhood, her beautiful daughters and her son of whom she was so proud.
She traveled to Europe several times and, most recently to China. She enjoyed being physically active and was involved in yoga, Chi Gong, Tai Chi among others. She typically walked around Green Lake every morning, rain or shine.
Carol's spiritual life was of great importance to her. She meditated regularly, attended many classes and lectures, feeling a particularly close affinity with the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba as well as with Jesus and Mother Mary. It was remarked of Carol that, ‘she held an amazing bright light and loving heart that she shared with many, many others.'
Carol is survived by her husband, Larry, of the family home in Shoreline; her daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Gallagher, and their son, Kellen, of Mukilteo; a son, Steven Bach, of Shoreline; daughters, Stephanie Bach, of Lynnwood and Angela Bach, of Edmonds; her brother, Douglas Abrahamson, of Big Lake; sister, Sandarah Abrahamson-Amun, of Sedro-Woolley; and her parents, Edwin and Rose Good Abrahamson, of Sedro-Woolley.
Funeral Services for Carol will be held at the Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 1:00 PM. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the service at the Eagles' in Sedro-Woolley.
Memorials are suggested to P.A.W.S. or to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research in Seattle.
