Neita was a pioneer in her day by becoming a career woman. She loved working in the banking and legal fields, and was a dedicated and valued employee. She kept her farm in Haskell and enjoyed visiting there from time to time. She and Coy traveled the world and she loved living in the Middle East, South America, and Europe.
After retirement, Neita and Coy settled down in the Silver Creek Community of Lake Buchanan. She loved her lake and the peace it brought to her. Out of all the places she traveled and lived, she loved living at the lake the most.
Neita and Coy had one son, Ric L. Baccus and she had two stepchildren, Sandra Wake and Randy Baccus. She has 5 grandchildren, Neal Cox, Jacob Baccus, David Baccus, Matthew Cox, and Benjamin Baccus.
Neita went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, August 25, 2012. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy B. Baccus.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Hospice of Midland, who devoted love, care, and attention during her final days. No services will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
