David Paul Baca, age 61, a resident of Belen, passed away on Tuesday, June 15. He attended Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
David was a talented drywaller who had many friends. He enjoyed gardening and was always making people laugh and cracking jokes.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Barbarita Baca and his daughter, Lisa Marie Baca. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Suzanne Murray and her husband, Daniel, of Farmington and Frank Baca of Jarales; sister, Eva Serna and her husband, Manuel, of Belen; grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Destiny and Danielle Murray, Lilith Baca and Emma Myers. David is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
All services were held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning with a viewing on Friday, June 18, followed by rosary at and a Funeral Mass with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Interment followed at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Robert Myers, Ben Baca, Bob Rierson, Richard Martinez, Tony Padilla Jr. and Roy Padilla.
Arrangements were handled by the caring professionals at Riverside Funeral Home of Belen, 418 W. Reinken Ave., where an online guest register is available at www.riversideofbelen.com.
