Ms. Kleister was born October 4, 1955 in Greenville, SC, to the late Marion Woods Babb and Virginia Laura Abercrombie Babb. She worked at Cypress Internal Medicine, part of the Greenville Hospital System. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn, where she played the organ, sang in the choir, and volunteered with the youth group. Many sought Ms. Kleister for encouragement and guidance as she was a positive mentor, always smiling, throughout her life.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Ryan Bajan, and Teresa and Brian Reich; and her beloved dog, Jovie.
She was predeceased by a son, Brian Gary Kleister.
