Jeff Kinnard “Buster” Broaddus, 93, of Lancaster, husband of Helen Goins Broaddus, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born Wednesday, July 07, 1926 in Garrard County. He was the son of late Maude Walden Broaddus & William Broaddus. Jeff was a United States Army Veteran of World War Two and retired American Greetings employee. He was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by one son Bobby Broaddus, two daughters Linda Stone, Ellen Thompson, two brothers, Gene Broaddus, Clyde Broaddus and one sister Hazel Karnes, and one great grandchild.
His survivors include his loving wife of 72 years, Helen Goins Broaddus of Lancaster, sons Ralph (Johnetta) Broaddus of Lancaster, Jeffery Broaddus of Lancaster, daughter Helen Bailey of Lancaster as well as twelve grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Ramsey—Young Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Estes & Bro. Bill Rhodus officiating. Burial with military rites by the Caswell Saufley Post # 18 will takes place in Lancaster Cemetery.
