Columbus J. Ayers, 83 of Moncks Corner, SC died Saturday, August 18, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Alice (Allison) Ayers. Two daughters and two Sons-in-law. Debbie Ayers Jones and husband Michael and Catherine Ayers Jones and husband Glenn. Also, surviving is his beloved dog, Tweet.
Mr. Ayers was a Navy Veteran and Retired Restaurateur.
He also served as President for such organizations as the Optimist Club, Boys Homes of America, Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club and Elks Club to name a few.
He was also Director of the City of Charleston's annual Holiday Parade for many years.
Family and Friends are invited to attend his funeral services August 23, 2012 at 10AM at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 2224 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC.
