Ruby Mae Burk was born May 30, 1901, the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Blakely Burk Ramsey. When Mary Blakely Burk married Albus Ramsey, Ruby suddenly found herself with three brothers Charley, Willie, Oakley,and a sister Lillian. Albus and Mary gave her four more brothers, R J, D A, Carlos and Elrre. Ruby married Dreyfus "Drew" Aven September 26, 1926. They had two sons, Forrest and Don. Ruby lived a number of years in Oklahoma before returning to Texas. She died January 25, 1979 and was laid to rest in the Celeste Cemetery, Hunt County, TX. Ruby was my aunt, great aunt actually, but we just called her Aunt Ruby.
