Lyra Allshouse was the daughter of Edward Allshouse and Maryetta (Nettie) Clement. Lyra was the first wife of Frederick Auten. They were married 03 April 1894 in the Methodist Church, Cone, MI. Fred Auten married second to Stella Zeluff in about 1898; she was born 1876 and died 1951. (She had previously been married to Willard Hubbard. She was also married to George Dibble.) Fred and Lyra had a son, Harold Lamont Auten, born 23 Dec 1895 and died 1897. Stella had a son, Kenneth, from her marriage to Willard Hubbard. Frederick and Stella had a daughter, Rosa Auten, born about 1910. (Note: no headstone was found for Lyra, although the cemetery listing has her buried in this cemetery.
