Charlie J. Austin, 86, formerly of Ford City, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, in Naples, Fla. He had been a resident of Naples for four years. He was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Macon, Mich. He was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps. Charlie is survived by his son, Tom Austin and his wife, Jill, of Naples, and granddaughter, Julie, of Berkeley, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Helen Austin. A private burial will be in Ford City at a later date.
