AUST – Herbert H., 89, Roxbury, died May 7, 2008, at home. Born April 20, 1919, in Listie, the son of John Sr. and Josephine (Sedei) Aust. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John, William and Arthur Aust; and sisters, Elizabeth, Hildegarde and Anna Miller. Survived by wife of 65 years, Eleanor (Snyder); children: Herbert S., married to Donna J. Grabowski, Menoher Heights, and Robin, married to William Bogler, Lewisburg, Pa. Also survived by grandchildren, Pamela, married to Michael Crooks; Cynthia Aust; Herbert S. Aust Jr.; Cory Bogler; and Alex Bogler; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin and Landon Crooks. Herbert was retired from Peoples Natural Gas Co. with 45 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in France, Belgium and England. A member of the American Legion, VFW and Listie Hunting Club, and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum officiating. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown. Entombment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Geistown.
