RITTMAN -- Dorothy A. Adams, 87, formerly of Rittman, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Marjorie Hobe of Horton, Mich. She was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Rittman to R. Gault and Blanche (Craig) Aurand and lived all of her life in Rittman. She was employed at the Packaging Corporation of America for 30 years, retiring in 1980. She was a graduate of Rittman High School in the class of 1940 and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Doylestown. Dorothy enjoyed canning and sewing. Her husband, Carl D. Adams, died Feb. 22, 2009. An infant brother, Dale, died previously. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Drive, Rittman, with the Rev. Charles R. Kaliszewski officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery
