Mrs. Alida Aumack, 84, of 18 W. First St. Keyport, widow of Augustus Aumack died at her home early Tuesday morning, Aug. 23, 1949, following an extended illness.
She was born in Keyport, the daughter of the late John and Ann Eliza Van Pelt and had lived in the borough all her life.
Mrs. Aumack was a member for many years of the First Baptist Church, Freedom Council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, and Lady Colfax Rebekah Lodge, and a charter member of the Pocahontas Lodge, all of Keyport.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Herman Oetjen of Keyport, and Mrs. Wesley Pownall of Newtown, Pa; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services are being conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bedle Funeral Home with Rev. Charles R. Smyth, pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the family plot in Green Grove Cemetery.
