Anna May (Fox) Attig, 94, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at her son's residence. She was the wife of Glenn Ness Attig who passed away October 29, 1983. She was born February 22, 1919 in Delroy, the daughter of the late William and Fairy May (Fitzkee) Fox. Mrs. Attig loved her church and loved keeping in touch with people by sending cards. She also loved to cook and care for people and do crossword puzzles. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Yoe. She is survived by four children, Donald L Attig and his wife Glenda of Red Lion, Edward L Attig and his wife Vonnie of East Berlin, Dorcus L Ruppert and her late husband Donald of York, and Dennis L. Attig and his wife Jane of Yoe; one sister, Margaret Kinard; and one brother, John Fox. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Morene L. Attig; and a brother, William Fox. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 81 N. Main St., Yoe, with Pastor Troy R. Harrold officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Yoe Union Cemetery, Yoe.
