Mrs. Atterberry Dies Suddenly At Hospital Here

Mrs. Alda Atterberry died at 5 a. m. today at Callaway Memorial Hospital after a one-day illness. She and her husband, Joe, made their home with a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Zelia) Fishburn, Route 4.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Browning Funeral Home.
Mrs. Atterberry was born on February 7, 1883, daughter of Edward and Caroline Windmeyer Heying. She was married on Oct. 7, 1903, to Joe Atterberry, who survives.
The couple made their home on a farm near Portland most of their married life. Mrs. Atterberry was a member of the Evangelical Church of Rhineland.
In addition to her husband and the daughter with whom they lived, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Vollie (Lucille) Blackburn, Williamsburg, Mrs. Paul (Orintha) Matteson, Portland, and Mrs. T. R. (Elva) Struttman, Rhineland; one son, Melvin Atterberry, Portland; a sister, Mrs. Guy Payne, Ava, Mo.; 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
