Mrs. Atkinson was a homemaker, a native of Oak Ridge, PA, and a member of West Market Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors are husband, John E. Atkinson; sons, Robert M. Atkinson, A.H. "Fred" Atkinson, Dennis G. Atkinson, Bruce D. Atkinson and Ben D. Atkinson of Greensboro, Richard T. Atkinson of Atlanta, GA, Frank E. Atkinson of Jacksonville, Fla.; mother, Mrs. Nellis Horne Bish of Vandergrift, PA; sisters, Mrs. Helen Bish Black of Port Ritchey, Fla., Mrs. Mary Bish Raniri of Jeanette, PA, Mrs. Jean Bish Anderson of Apollo, PA; brothers, John Bish of Roseville, Calif., Bruce Bish of New Alexandria, PA; stepgrandmother, Mrs. Pearl Porter Horne of New Kingston, PA; 14 grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today.
