BETTY LYNN ATKINSON Our beloved Mother, wife, grandmother and sister passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, June 12th to join her parents, James A. and Virgie Mae Riley and her three brothers, Freeman, Herschel and James A. Riley Jr. She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband of 51 years, Herman Atkinson, her son Herman Atkinson Jr. and her daughters, Janet Maichetti and husband David, Judy Atkinson, Donna Bass and husband Len, Cherie Rogers and Lynn Crawford, her 8 grand-children, 3 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Binky. In addition, she is survived by her sister Erma Johnson and husband Raymond. A family and friends visitation will be held June 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, Hwy. 59 @ Lauder Rd. It was Betty's wish to have a graveside service that will be held on June 17th @ 10 a.m. @ Brookside Cemetery.
