SERVICE IS SET FOR MIKE ATKINS
Funeral for Bennett (Mike) Atkins, 49 life-long area resident, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel.
Atkins who died Monday in Dallas, is survived by a daughter, Iris Michael Atkins, Houston; a brother, Randy, Corpus Christi; three sisters, Mrs Bonita Thompson, Mrs Geneva Levy of Duncan and Mrs Evaline Reynolds, Arlington, Tex.
The Rev Bill Masters, First Christian Church Pastor, assisted by Rev Maynard Campbell, Duncan Rescue Mission, will conduct service. Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery under direction of Brooks Funeral Home.
Bearers will be Dick McConnell, James Hale, Cecil Blake, Melvin Graham, E E Alexander and Howard Edwards.
