It is highly likely that the following are the five children of Charles H. & Mary A. (Toppan) Atherton buried here:

Mary Ann Atherton 11 Jul 1806 - 24 Sep 1807
DIED - In this town [Amherst NH], on Thursday evening last, MARY-ANNE, only daughter of Charles H. Atherton, Esq. aged 14 months. [The Farmers' Cabinet, 29 Sep 1807, page 3]

George Atherton 25 Sep 1808 - 10 Apr 1825
DIED - In this town [Amherst NH], on Sunday morning last, George Atherton, son of the Hon. Charles H. Atherton, aged 16. He was a member of the Junior Class of Harvard College. [The Farmers' Cabinet, 16 Apr 1825, page 3]

Mary Ann Toppan Atherton 18 Dec 1810 - 26 Jan 1853
DIED - In this town [Amherst NH], Jan. 26th, Miss Mary Ann T. Atherton, only daughter of late Hon. Charles H. Atherton, aged 42. By the death of her father she had become possessed of a very large property, but of feeble health, still more enfeebled by her attentions to her father, she is thus soon called to follow him, and to leave these earthly possessions to others. In life they were most tenderly united; and in death they are not parted. Miss A. partook of the marked ability and social qualities of the family, and was highly regarded by her many friends and acquaintances. [The Farmers' Cabinet, 3 Feb 1853, page 3]

Christopher Atherton 6 Aug 1815 - 3 May 1816
DIED - In this town [Amherst NH], last evening, Christopher, aged nine months, youngest child of Hon. C. H. Atherton. [The Farmers' Cabinet, 4 May 1816, page 3]

Henry Atherton 19 May 1817 - 19 May 1817
Notice of his death not located. -jlsm
