Jane was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and its Rosary Society. She retired as an Administrator of Woodcrest Nursing Home.
She is survived by her husband Ronald D. Aspy of Decatur; a son Steven D. (Robin) Aspy of Wolcottville, IN; a daughter Rhonda J. Aspy of Decatur; two sisters Maryann (Mick) Mickelini of Ft. Wayne and Martha Giant of New Haven; a sister-in-law Joan Laurent of Decatur; three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers Bob and John Laurent and a son Cary in October, 2008.
Visitation will be from Noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. A 9:50 a.m. Prayer service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 also at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Voors will be officiating and burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials are to St. Joseph Catholic School and Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home, Ft. Wayne.
