Mrs. Elizabeth Mills Ashley. Mrs. Elizabeth Mills Ashley, wife of Charles Ashley, died this morning about 2 o'clock at her home two miles east of this city after an illness of two weeks. Bright's disease being the cause of dissolution. Elizabeth Mills was born Dec. 15. 1828 in Springfield, Mass, She was married to Charles Ashley of the same place, Sept. 18, 1864,[1854] Mr. Ashley died Feb. 18. 1871,[this is son's death date] Mrs. Ashley has made her home with her daughter. Mrs. Eva Bishop for a number of years at whose home she died. Of two children born only one, Mrs. Bishop, is now living. There also survive the following grandchildren: Charles A., Sara h M., and Edward Bishop, one brother, Harvey Wells of Coldwater and a number of nephews and nieces who live at Charlotte and Springfield, Mass.
