Robert Henry Ashby, age 55, died in a local hospital on Friday, following a heart attack. He lived at 910 Tremont St.
He was born in Fannin County and had lived in Weatherford for the past seven years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife: five daughters, Mrs Elmo Randall, Fort Worth, Mrs Paul Warner, Mrs John Miller, Marlene and Shirley Ashby all of Weatherford. Three sons, Carl, John and Robert, Weatherford. His mother Mrs John B Ashby, Weatherford: and sister Mrs Offie Sledge of Bangs, and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday with the Rev Jimmie Dobbs Conducting the services. Interment was at Oakland Cemetery with Cotten-Bratton Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
