Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Ann Jones, 83, were held at the Baxter Chapel of Christ Sunday March 2 at 2 p.m. with the minister Ernest Aston officiating. Burial was in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jones died Friday in Coffee County Nursing Home following a long illness. She was a native of Putnam County, the daughter of Jesse and Martha Randolph Ashburn and was the widow of William Everett Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Newell Taylor Halfacre, Manchester, TN, three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Butts, Baxter, and Mrs. Wilson Clemons, Silver Point, TN.
