Elmer Arven--
Elmer ARVEN, 1007 Elm street, this city, died at 5:30 a.m. today in the Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. Mr. Arven had been a resident of Fulton county his entire life.
He was born Sept. 6, 1885, to Martin and Caroline (BERRY) ARVEN. In 1941, he was married to Agnes CHALK. Mr. Arven was employed as custodian at the Rochester library.
Survivors are his wife, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Jud HUDKINS, Rochester; Miss Arlene ARVEN, South Bend; three sons, Victor and Paul [ARVEN], Rochester; Walker [ARVEN], Edwardsburg, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Earl GIBSON (his twin), Rochester; Mrs. Harry WILSON, Buchanan, Mich., and eight grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster funeral home. Rev. Bevis HILL will officiate and burial will be in the Citizens cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
