She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Shali and Bill Carter of Barberton; daughter Pamela North of Gotha, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Lawrence Bush of Barberton; son William "Bill" North of Ocala, Florida; son and daughter-in-law Roger and Leslie North of Barberton; son and daughter-in-law Chuck "Babe" and Lori North of Ocoee, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and brother and sister-in-law Harold and Donna Arthur of Barberton.
Ruth's life was never an easy one, filled with hard work and pain from the time she was 12 years old. And yet, she was always able to find joy in her family. She loved being a mother, making dresses for her 3 daughters and watching her 3 sons play baseball. She loved being called "Ma-maw" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because she loved to cook big meals for her family and spoil them with homemade "Buckeyes" on Christmas Eve. Her family will miss her everyday but is thankful that she is now pain free and able to rest safely in the arms of Jesus.
