Ernest Arrowsmith, 62 [65], former Provoan, died at his home, 1228 Crandall Avenue, Salt Lake City, Friday afternoon of carcinoma.

He was born at Provo October 7, 1880 [1877], a son of Josiah and Madeline* Moser Arrowsmith. He worked at the Knight Woolen Mills, and at the mills in Santa Ana and Long Beach, Cal., before moving to Salt Lake where he served as supervisor at the Utah Woolen mills.

He was a member of the L. D. S. church [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints].

Surviving are his widow, Lorinda Epperson Arrowsmith; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Farrer of Provo, and Mrs. Syvia Parks of Salt Lake, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7 p. m. at 36 East Seventh South, Salt Lake City. Additional graveside services will be at the Provo City Cemetery Tuesday at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Provo.
