Services for Delorise Arrington will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church with Revs. Rick Manning, Gary McInnis, and Michael Smith officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Mrs. Arrington, 62, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was born Feb. 13, 1947 in Clarke County to J.M. Smith and Cleavie Maxine Sowers. Survivors include her husband, Joe Arrington; a sister Dewayne Herrington; two daughters, Robin Odom, and Gail McCarra; her mother, Maxine Smith; a brother, James Mickey Smith; two sisters, Pat Castle and Donna Robinson; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Buddy Castle, Rodney Robinson, Innis Smith, Keith Castle, Tyler Culpepper and James Poole. Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
