Graveside services for Margaret "Pie" Arrington Nunley, 88, of Carrollton, who died of respiratory failure Friday, March 3, 2006, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mrs. Nunley was the oldest living member of Carrollton Baptist Church. She was retired from 35 years employment with the state of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lee Nunley.
She is survived by a son, William Mayhew Nunley of Greenwood; three sisters, Minnie Laura Arrington Herbert of Carrollton, Mayfred Arrington Shackleford of North Carrollton and Mary Alice Arrington Grafton of Memphis; three grandchildren, Amy Nunley Youngblood of Birmingham, Erica Nunley McMahon of Laurel and and Johnathan Lee Nunley of Starkville; two great-grandchildren, Shelby Elizabeth Youngblood and Allie McKenzie McMahon.
The Rev. George Smith, assisted by the Rev. Charles Jones, will officiate over services.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Lee Nunley, Tommy Youngblood, Richard McMahon, Pate Shackleford, George Shackleford and Tommy Rayborn.
Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
