F.O. ARONHALT IS CLAIMED AT HOME IN CITY
Frank O Aronhalt, 52, a retired Pennsylvainia railroad commpany engineer,died at his home, 507 South Seventh St., Friday evening at 6 o'clock from heart trouble and dropsey. He had been in ill health for the last several months and had been confined to his home since last June 17.
Mr. Aronhalt was the father of Everett S Aronhalt, age 22, who died in a plane crash at Arnettsville W.Va.last Decoration day.
Mr. Arnholt had been in the employee of the Pennsylvania railroad compnay since he was 22 years of age. He was promoter to engineer in 1907, being an engineer for 23 years.
During the time he served as an engineer he never figured into an accident, nor was he ever abset from his work. He had the honor of driving one of the fastest trains between New York and St. Louois known as the American. He worked out of Stubenville for a while and recently was given a job in the local railroad yard. He had worked here four weeks when his health failed.
Mr. Aronhalt was born May 4, 1878, and united in marriage with Miss Eva Sapp of Uhrichsville Dec. 24, 1903. Mr. & Mrs. Aronhalt formerly resided in Uhrichsville, moving to this city in 1918.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge, Junior Order, Spanish American War Veterans and the B L F & E lodge of Dennison. He was affiliated with the Mount Zion Church since he was a young man.
Besides the widow, he is survived by the following children; Mrs. Edwin Wilson; Lelah; Ruth; Mary; Hazel Ann; and Glenn Thomas, all of the late home. One brother, Clarence Aronhalt, this city , and a sister, Mrs. W J Teeters of Alliance also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternooon at 2:30 at Grace M E Church by Rev. Isaac Harper. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
