Imogene Powell Arnsparger, age 85 of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. She was born in Lacie and was the daughter of the late Harrison and Hattie Ransdall Powell. She retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Human Resources Specialist, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
She is survived by one son: Dale Arnsparger (and wife Vonda) of Bagdad; and one granddaughter: Laura Owens (and husband Doug) of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Coleman Arnsparger.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Chris Platt, pastor of Highland Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday, October 10, 2014.
