She was born on March 23, 1947, in Evansville, the daughter of Fred and Nelda (Irvin) Williamson and has been an Anderson resident all of her life.
Helen was retired from the Anderson City Court after 30 years of service and was a member of the Democratic Women’s Club and Relay for Life of Madison County
She is survived by her brother, Denny (wife, Nancy) Williamson of Anderson; her sister, Mary (husband, Mick) Scott of Anderson; two stepdaughters, Shelly Simmons of Anderson and Tracey Landis of Columbia City; three nieces, Nikki Williamson, MaryBeth Scott and Shellie Scott, all of Anderson; nephew, Matt (wife, Kendra) Williamson of Anderson; step grandchildren, Amber, Ellen and Zachary; stepgreat-grandchildren, Bailey, Summer, Dallas and Devin; and six great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nelda Williamson; sister, Tina Marie Williamson; and devoted companion, Mike Kurtz.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Father Mark Walter officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
