BETTYE ALEYNE ARNOLD, 57, of Memphis, nurse at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for 30 years, died of respiratory distress Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge.
She leaves a son, Stephen Arnold of Nashville, and three sisters, Kay Gillespie of Memphis, Bobbye Hamill of Dallas and Patsy McLean of Lafayette, La. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Bettye Arnold Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
