Mayme M. Belcher
Mayme Maydell Belcher, 76, of Denton, a retired caregiver for At Your Service, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, in Denton.
She was born June 24, 1927, in Bartonville to Joseph Melburn and Mabel Hester (Crawford) Arnold. On Nov. 16, 1943, she married J.C. Belcher Sr. in Marietta, Okla.
She was a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Sanger. Charles C. "Buddy" Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in Sanger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.
Survivors include two daughters, Margie Bostic and Virginia Risler, both of Denton; one son, J. C. Belcher Jr.; two brothers, Joseph Lee Arnold and Franklin D. Arnold, both of Denton; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and one son, Tommy Belcher.
