Ninon Gibson Arnett was born October 26, 1919 in Nogalus, TX. to Hattye Mae and Walter Lee Gibson. Ninon married Ralph C. Arnett, Jr. on August 7, 1942, in Mobile, AL where Ralph was stationed in the Air Force. Ninon was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Ralph C. Arnett, Jr; her sister Gip Windham and her parents. She is survived by their three daughters and sons-in-law: Karen and Rick Paris, Dianne and Don Hendrickson, Jean and Michael Dudley; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers in law Joseph T. Arnett of the Woodlands and Donald R. Arnett of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews. Remembrances can be made to Ninon Gibson and Ralph C. Arnett Jr. Scholarship, Angelina College 3500 S. First, PO Box 1761, Lufkin, TX. 75902-1768. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM Friday, March 11 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 12 at Oak Cliff Christian Church. Interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
