FRANK ARNDT

VERMILION - Frank Arndt, 65, was pronounced dead yesterday at 7:45 p.m. in St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, after suffering a heart attack in his home in Brownhelm, RD 1, Vermilion.

Mr. Arndt had lived in Brownhelm most of his life with the exception of residence in Cleveland for 22 years prior to March 28 of this year when he returned to this community after retirement. He had been employed by the New York Central Railroad in the signal maintenance department for 48 years.

Mr. Arndt was a member of the United Church of Christ Reformed and the Brotherhood of Railway Signalmen.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Luikart of Oberlin, Mrs. Louis Heller of Amherst and Miss Helen Arndt of Vermilion and five brothers, John, Robert and Fred, all of RD Vermilion, and Edward and Jacob, both of Amherst.

Friends will be received at the Edward M. Fisher Funeral Home after 8 p.m. today.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The Rev. Norman S. Greenawalt will officiate. Burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
