Bruce A. Armstrong Sr., 44, passed away on February 18, 2007 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was a 1981 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. Bruce was formerly employed by Historic Woodlawn Cemetery and the City of Toledo in their Refuge Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Evelyn Armstrong, Sr. and sister, Maxine E. Washington. He leaves to cherish his memory children, Nekia, Bruce Jr. and Mariah Armstrong; brothers, Fred Jr., Keith Sr. (Sheila) and Gregory (Deborah) Hayward of Anchorage, Alaska; special niece and nephew, Delonia Armstrong and Demond Washington; very special friend, Gloria Scott, special friends, Eugene "Butch" Ford (Tamica), and Steve Rankin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2007. Wake service 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2007, followed by funeral service at 12 noon all at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Daniel J. Cunningham officiant. Burial Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
